• Understanding ELLs: Definition, characteristics, and unique challenges SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol)

• Model: Implementing effective lesson planning strategies

• Best Practices: Research-based approaches for engaging ELLs and migrant learners

• Language Instruction: Techniques to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills

• Content Instruction: Strategies for making subject matter accessible across disciplines

• Multilingual Resources: Utilizing and creating materials that support language diversity
