Book Study for Special Educators: The Artificial Intelligence Playbook

This summer book study explores The Artificial Intelligence Playbook (Hargrave, Fisher & Frey, 2024), focusing on how AI can serve as a virtual administrative assistant for special educators. Participants will learn practical applications of AI tools to reduce administrative workload and maximize time for meaningful student interactions. Led by a special educator for special educators, we'll focus on applications for case managers, inclusive classroom teachers and special class teachers.

Blended learning: Two synchronous online meetings with asynchronous assignments in between for a total of 15 CTLE hours.

NOTE: Participants must secure their own copy of the text before the start of the course.


FORMAT: Synchronous online learning, with asynchronous online assignments

DATES/TIME: Synchronous online meetings: Mondays, 7/7/25 and 8/11/25, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
