Accessing Course Information

If you are looking to contact the course instructor after registration, or have questions prior to registering about the course content or format, here is how to easily connect with the instructor.

  • Course instructors are listed within each course on the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center Frontline Web Registration. Click on the name identified in blue under “Instructors”. A current email address for the instructor will be listed, which you can use to contact any instructor directly. 

    OR

  • Course instructors are also listed in the current Core Connection catalog, under each individual course with an associated GCRTC contact email address. 

    Please note: If you do not receive a reply to your inquiry from a course instructor within 24 hours, please contact the GCRTC staff member associated with the course. In the rare case that you do not receive a reply from either the course instructor or the GCRTC staff member associated with the course within 24 hours of reaching out, please forward your initial email to the GCRTC Executive Director for further assistance.

Registered Participants: Wondering How to Get Started with a Course?

Your course instructor will reach out to all enrolled registrants one week prior to the start of the first session with a welcome email, containing a link for the course (if any part of the course will be online) and any other pertinent information you may need.

If you do not receive this welcome email prior to the start date of your course, you should:

  • Check your email spam folder for any email coming from GCRTC, through the domain teachers-center.org, or directly through Frontline. 

Please note: Due to the privacy filters many districts set on their email systems, emails from our domain and the Frontline domain often go directly to spam.

  • If you don’t find the welcome email there, please contact the course instructor using the blue hyperlinked instructor name located within the course in Frontline. You may also go to the Current Course Calendar on the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center website, and find the course by start date on the calendar. Course information, including course links and the instructor’s email address are also listed there.
